Terry B. Tressler, D.O. , FACOOG - Program Director
Dr. Tressler completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. After practicing Ob/Gyn for seven years, he completed his fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Tressler is the founder of our practice which began in 1995. He has a wide range of interests in Maternal Fetal Medicine. He currently is the program director for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program sponsored through LECOM and Pinnacle Health System.
Francis J. Martinez, D.O., FACOOG
Dr. Martinez completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After practicing Ob/Gyn for three years, he completed his fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. He has a special interest in 3D technology and its potential application involving prenatal diagnosis of birth defects or growth problems. He is a clinical professor in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program.
Claudia Taboada, D.O., FACOOG
Dr.Taboada graduated from New York College Osteopathic of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Taboada has completed her MFM fellowship with MFMCP & Pinnacle Health. We are proud to announce that Dr. Taboada has been hired by MFMCP as a perinatologist and we welcome her to our practice. Dr. Taboada is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Howard S. Weber, M.D., FAAP, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Weber is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Pennsylvania State University, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. He completed his residency at Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and is active as a board member for various committees. Dr. Weber also has many publications regarding pediatric cardiology. Dr. Weber has recently joined the MFMCP team in our Harrisburg office on a monthly basis performing Fetal Echos.
James Barber, D.O, FACOOG, Graduated Fellow
Dr. Barber graduated from Philadelphia Osteopathic College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Barber is active in the United States Army. Prior to entering into MFMCP’s fellowship program, Dr. Barber was Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at St. Joseph’s Health Center in Ohio. Dr. Barber is in his third year of fellowship. Dr. Barber is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Congratulations to Dr. Barber for graduating from our MFM fellowship. Best wishes to him as he pursues additional training in Baltimore in a Fetal Surgery Fellowship.
Lisa M. Thiel, D.O. Senior Fellow
Dr. Thiel graduated from Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Thiel is active in the United States Navy Reserves, Medical Corps. Dr. Thiel is a first year fellow.
Lauren B. Bowman, B.S., PA-C
Lauren graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Philadelphia University. She has 10 years combined experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Practice prior to working at MFMCP. She is board certified by the National Commision of the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
